Ethan Pezzini - Fighting Fire Blight to Save the Apple Trees

Описание: When not on campus, UVM agroecology and landscape design major Ethan Pezzini can often be found among the apple trees UVM Horticulture Research and Education Farm. Ethan spent the summer and fall conducting research on controlling the spread of fire blight, a bacterial disease commonly found in apple and pear trees. Fire blight can cause serious damage or even death to a tree if left untreated and poses a major threat to apple growers.
