On the hot, sunny savanna, the *primitive ape* encounters a solitary *Suricate* in the open field, while a *Peregrine falcon* continuously drops in lightning-fast bursts. Unable to outrun the predator, the *primitive ape* constructs a shelter of dry wings and bundles of grass, guiding Suricate along a “path of rope.” When Peregrine shifts to a low-intensity tactic of soaking, he throws small objects to disrupt the rhythm, helping Suricate to safety.
