Kimblewick bit belongs to the Pelham category and is one of the most versatile Pelham versions. It has rings in shape of the letter "D" with additional ring in the upper part for attaching the cheek strap and hooks for fastening the curb chain. In the middle of the letter there are hooks for the reins. The strength of this horse bit can be easily regulated by multiple options of reins attachment that change the length of the lever. Kimblewick is recommended for strong but sensitive horses who need gentle changes in the strength of the bit.
