Struggling with valve clearance on the new FOX Float X2 2026?
In this video I show you how to use the air sleeve clocking system to rotate the air valve for better frame fit.
This step-by-step guide walks through:
1️⃣ Depressurising the shock safely
2️⃣ Removing the rebound dials & retaining ring
3️⃣ Sliding the air sleeve back to disengage the locator dots
4️⃣ Rotating the sleeve to move the valve away from the reservoir and frame
5️⃣ Re-seating the sleeve, reinstalling hardware, and re-pressurising
💡 Notes:
It may feel tight the first time (fresh seals and grease).
The “factory dots” don’t need to be realigned — rotate until you get the clearance you need.
The eyelet stays square for mounting — only the valve position changes.
