Blood moon September 2025 / Making apple tart / Spring slow living mini silent vlog

Описание: Friend, how are you? We are officially at the start of our spring season here in the Southern Hemisphere. We haven’t had any rain yet, but hopefully it will be soon.
I invite you along to watch the blood moon which I managed to capture accompanied by the nightly farm noises of sheep and jackals howling.
We are also going to bake apple tart and I am sharing my recipe with you.
We will also be spending a good amount of time in the garden and taking a bit of a walk as well.

🥧Apple tart recipe ::
Ingredients for tart
(125 ml) 1/2 cup of sugar
3 eggs
(5 ml) 1 teaspoon baking powder
(1.25 ml) pinch of salt
(45 ml) 3 tablespoons butter
(250 ml) 1 cup cake flour
(60 ml)) 1/4 cup milk
(385 grams) 1 tin of pie apples

cream butter and sugar
add eggs one at a time
add flour, baking powder, salt and milk and mix until smooth (optionally you can add (2.5 ml) 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract.)
pour batter into greased ovenproof pan/dish
layer apples on top of batter
bake at 200ºC (392ºF) for 30 minutes

While baking, prepare the syrup.
Ingredients for syrup
(125 ml) 1/2 cup sugar
(250 ml) 1 cup milk
(125 ml) 1/2 cup butter
Combine all the ingredients together in a saucepan and gently heat until melted.

Once the tart comes out of the oven and while the syrup is still hot, gently pour it over the tart until completely soaked up.
It is now ready to be enjoyed with custard, cream or ice cream.
