খালেদা জিয়াকে ছাড়া কোনো নির্বাচন হবে না : ফখরুল

Описание: বিএনপি চেয়ারপারসন বেগম খালেদা জিয়ার মুক্তি দাবিতে রাজধানীতে মানববন্ধন করেছেন দলটির নেতাকর্মীরা। সকালে জাতীয় প্রেসক্লাবের সামনে মানববন্ধন কর্মসূচি পালন করা হয়। এতে অংশ নিয়ে দলটির শীর্ষ নেতারা বলেন, বেগম খালেদা জিয়াকে ছাড়া দেশে কোনো নির্বাচন হবে না। বেগম জিয়াকে মুক্ত করে আন্দোলনের মাধ্যমে নির্দলীয় সরকারের অধীনে নির্বাচনের দাবি আদায় করা হবে বলেও মন্তব্য করেন তারা।

জিয়া অরফানেজ ট্রাস্ট দুর্নীতি মামলায় সাজাপ্রাপ্ত বেগম খালেদা জিয়ার মুক্তি দাবিতে জাতীয় প্রেসক্লাবের সামনে এ কর্মসূচির আয়োজন করে বিএনপি। রাজধানীর বিভিন্ন এলাকা থেকে আসা দলীয় নেতাকর্মী ও সমর্থকদের ভিড়ে নির্ধারিত সময়ের বেশ আগেই জনাকীর্ণ হয়ে পড়ে রাজপথ।

কর্মসূচি মানববন্ধন হলেও কর্মীসমাগমে তা যেন রূপ নেয় সমাবেশে। বিএনপি'র মহাসচিব মির্জা ফখরুল ইসলাম আলমগীর নেতাকর্মীদের শৃঙ্খলাবদ্ধ করার চেষ্টা করেন। এতে দলের শীর্ষস্থানীয় অন্য নেতারাও যোগ দেন।

মানববন্ধনে সংক্ষিপ্ত বক্তব্যে জিয়া অরফানেজ ট্রাস্ট মামলার রায়কে রাজনৈতিক উদ্দেশ্যপ্রণোদিত বলে মন্তব্য করেন নেতারা। একইসঙ্গে কারাগারে বেগম জিয়াকে ডিভিশন দিতে বিলম্ব করার সমালোচনা করেন।
