🇬🇧 BUS JOURNEY | Stagecoach South Wales "TrawsCymru Connect" X43: Brecon ➔ Abergavenny

Описание: Route X43 is operated by Stagecoach South Wales and goes from Brecon / Aberhonddu (Interchange) to Abergavenney / Y Fenni (Bus Station) via Crickhowell / Crucywel. There's also a 43, which differs in being longer as it diverts via smaller villages such as Talybont-on-Usk / Tal-y-bont ar Wysg and Llangynidr.

This route (but weirdly, not sister route 43) is part of the Welsh interurban bus network, known as TrawsCymru. However, this route (as well as the 460 from Cardigan to Carmarthen, the T11 from Fishguard to Haverfordwest and the T12 from Machynlleth to Wrexham) is branded as "TrawsCymru Connect" (Welsh: TrawsCymru Cyswllt), as it's much shorter than your typical TrawsCymru route (this route is only 33 km and only took about 40 minutes to cover - a typical TrawsCymru route will be at least 60-70 km and take at least 2 hours to cover, if not more...).

My opinion: 10/10. Another of these beautiful scenic routes in Wales, with all the beautiful hills (Bannau Brycheiniog National Park) and mountains making this route spectacular to say the least. The section between Brecon and Crickhowell was the best - parts of it even reminded me of my Italian homeland and the Appennines (the Italian side of my family lives in a village next the Appennines in Southern Italy).
