Описание: Beyond its monstrosity, the Minotaur embodies the sacrifice in its most troubled form. That of a shameful father, sovereign of Crete, powerful enemy of Athens and favorite of Poseidon: Minos. That of Aegeus and the fourteen young men who will be sent to the sanctuary of the monster to satisfy his appetites. That, thereafter, of Ariadne for Theseus who will put down the beast. And that of the Minotaur himself, locked up for what he is despite himself.

Following his betrayal of Poseidon, Minos will be given the fruit of the union between Pasiphae and the white bull offered to him by the God of the seas.
Minos, to cover his opprobrium, asks Daedalus to hide the illegitimate child in the most perfect labyrinth.
In its bosom, the massacre, every nine years, of seven girls and seven boys, sent by Aegeus, is perpetuated.
