DIY Wooden Boat Build - Episode 15
In this episode, laminating the keel begins with the stem and transom knee and the forward deadwood.
Milling timbers, cutting to length, applying West Systems 105 Epoxy and hardener, then trimming the excess lengths off with a circular saw, hammer and chisel, angle grinder with flap disk, electric planner and finally an orbital sander. Just a few steps but pretty time consumer from start to finish for each of these three keel sub-assemblies.
