Colombian Hot Chocolate
Ingredients:
For the Hot Chocolate:
1 oz chocolate, dark or milk
2 cups milk
1 tbsp granulated sugar
¼ tsp ground cinnamon
⅛ tsp ground cloves
1 cube or 1 tbsp shredded mozzarella
For the Marshmallow Creme:
¼ cup marshmallow fluff
1 tbsp powdered sugar
1 tbsp softened butter
¼ tsp vanilla extract
⅛ tsp salt
Directions:
Over a double boiler or in the microwave, melt the chocolate
To a pot, add the milk, sugar, ground cinnamon, and ground cloves, then bring to a boil and let simmer for 3-5 minutes
For the marshmallow creme, in a separate bowl, combine the marshmallow fluff, sugar, butter, vanilla extract, and salt with an electric mixer
In a glass, add the mozzarella at the bottom, then pour the boiling hot chocolate on top
Spoon the marshmallow creme on top
