This has got to be one of the most stunning drives in Scotland! Lochs, mountains, stunning beaches - it has everything.
There was a storm forecast for this evening, so we found a great protective spot in the Leitir Easaidh car park at Loch Assynt. Overnight parking is permitted. Details of payment are on the visitor board.

Where we parked we had:

Some of the wildlife seen include deer, blue tit, tree pipit, stonechat and numerous other birds that were too far away to identify.
