As we continue our journey through the holy season of Advent, the Church invites us to prepare our hearts in joyful expectation for the coming of our Savior. The offertory is not only a time of giving material gifts, but also of offering our lives, our hopes, and our prayers to the Lord who is near.
In this moment of sacred offering, may we learn to give of ourselves with humility and love, trusting that Christ, our Light, will come to renew all creation.
Our offertory hymn, “We Bring Our Gifts of Hope and Light,” reflects the spirit of Advent as we await the coming of Christ with faith and hope.
As the gifts of bread and wine are presented, let us also present our hearts to God — hearts longing for His peace, open to His mercy, and ready to welcome the Lord who comes to dwell among us.
