Janusz Bugajski is a Senior Fellow at The Jamestown Foundation in Washington, DC. He has authored 24 books on #europe , #russia , and trans-Atlantic relations and hosted television shows in the #balkans . He has been a columnist or contributor to media outlets in the United States, the United Kingdom, Albania , #bosnia and Herzegovina, #bulgaria , #croatia , #georgia , #kosovo , and #ukraine . He has given presentations in the European Parliament and has served as a consultant for the U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Agency for International Development ( #usaid ), and as course chair for South Central Europe Area Studies at the U.S. Department of State's Foreign Service Institute. He has testified before several congressional committees, including the #helsinki Commission, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, the Senate Armed Services Committee, the House Foreign Affairs Committee, and the House Defense Appropriations Committee. His most recent books include Free Nations, New States: The End Stage of Russian Colonialism (Edited Anthology), Pivotal #poland : Europe's Rising Power, and Failed State: A Guide to Russia's Rupture.
