Fasteners to attach Foamular from Owens Corning: Rodenhouse Inc.

Описание: Mitch Mahler and Jason Wigboldy tell us about Rodenhouse Inc.'s fastening solutions for Owens Corning's Foamular XPS Insulation. Our Thermal-Grip® ci prong washers can be used with our Grip-Deck® ceramic coated screws (self-drilling for steel studs or coarse-thread for wood studs). This unique 2" diameter washer has two prongs on the bottom side that allow you to pre-spot the washer into the face of the insulation, therefore eliminating the need for pre-assembly of screws and washers, and allows for rapid "on-the-wall" screw assembly. The Grip-Lok® Autofeed Fastening System from Rodenhouse can be used to rapidly attach Foamular insulation directly to steel studs or over a layer of gypsum sheathing. The Pos-I-Tie veneer anchoring system can be utilized with the Thermal-Grip® Brick Tie Washer for brick veneer cavity wall projects. This combination has been tested by Owens Corning in E331 and ASTME2357 Moisture and Air Test to hold out air and water when Foamular is attached directly to steel studs. Another unique product from Rodenhouse Inc. is our Plasti-Grip® Plasti Masonry Fastener (or PMF Anchor). The PMF Anchor is a good solution to costly shot-in systems from other manufacturers. This anchor allows you to attach any type of insulation to concrete or CMU substrates. Simply pre-drill through the insulation into the concrete wall, push the anchor into the hole and tap it flush with a hammer.
