E82 - An Abandoned Whale Station (Norwegian Bay) and Coral Bay

Описание: Heading from Yardie Creek we sail further south to Norwegian Bay where we explore an abandoned whale station that operated from 1912 to 1916, reopening in 1949 until it was closed again in 1957. After a very windy night making for a bumpy anchorage, we head south down Boat Passage to get some shelter from the swell before anchoring at Maud's Landing where we visit Coral Bay.

WHO ARE WE?
We’re Chris and Jo and we have been living on our Seawind 1260 since January 2019. In our first year we bring our yacht down the east coast of Australia and sail it out to New Caledonia. After cruising further north up the east coast of Australia in 2020, we decide to circumnavigate Australia during 2021 and 2022.
We had previously owned fishing and water skiing boats, but after a couple years crewing in South Australia we decided to jump right in and make a sea change.
We are just an ordinary Aussie couple exploring what this great world has to offer and hope that we can inspire others just as we were by watching other YouTube channels to follow our dreams.
