"Winter Glade" | Song for Solo Piano - Joshua Burniece

Описание: In today's video, I decided to go back to my roots with my writing. I have both a Bachelors Degree and a Masters Degree in piano, yet I have never actually written an original piece for solo piano. However, because I so often write for full orchestra now, most of my writing for "solo piano" ends up becoming sketches for future orchestration. With "Winter Glade," I wanted to force myself to write as simply as I possibly could and keep it strictly for solo piano. Normally when I write for the piano, I like to make it largely virtuosic, as is revealed with many of my piano covers on my channel. But there can be so much beauty in simplicity that I wanted to step outside my comfort zone and see what I could write with as few "notes" as possible.
