Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud is heading to Istanbul for talks with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Ankara has stepped up its diplomatic and strategic role in the Horn of Africa, and emerges as a key mediator, security partner and economic ally for Mogadishu. The visit follows growing controversy over Israel's recognition of Somaliland, the breakaway region of Somalia. Our correspondent Kubra Akkoc looks at what's at stake.
