The legendary acclaimed fantasy and horror illustrator Bernie Wrightson has passed away.
Bernie Wrightson has sadly passed away last Saturday after a lengthy battle with brain cancer. He was only 68. The American artist known is best known for his horror illustrations and comic books and is famed as the co-creator of DC Comics’ Swamp Thing. The Djinn Falls in Love & Other Stories is out now!
The book is a collection of new and classic tales of the fearsome Djinn, from bestselling, award-winning and breakthrough international writers. Tickets are now on sale for the Whitby Goth Weekend.
It’s a weekend celebrating all things gothic and is packed with “music, dancing, drinking and shopping!” All the gothic fun takes place on the 21st to the 23rd of April. All the stalls will be at 3 different venues: The Spa Pavilion, The Leisure Centre and the Brunswick Centre. Fantasy artist Ryan Pancost is bringing his ‘Common Ground: A Frontier Fantasy Story’ to hardback.
‘Common Ground’ is the first completed Frontier Fantasy story by acclaimed fantasy artist Ryan Pancost. The setting is called ‘Frontier Fantasy’ and is an alternative American West that might have been, taking place in the equivalent of the 1800-1850 time period.
