Описание: Wilderness has a reputation as one of the UK’s most eclectic festivals. Yes, there’s music – the 2019 line-up was headed-up by 00s diva Robyn and Groove Armada – but most of the action is happening away from the main stage. On the lake, in the middle of the woods, there’s boating and wild swimming, while people on the shore chill out at the lakeside spa, complete with wood-fired hot tubs and saunas. Wellbeing workshops are peppered throughout the line-up; there’s also comedy nights, an alternative beauty pageant, a country edition of the Sunday Papers Live, talks from big-name authors and celebrities (in 2019 Dr Adam Kay gave a live performance of his best-selling book This Is Going To Hurt and Scarltett Curtis helmed a series of live readings of letters written by influential women to themselves and each other) and late night parties in The Valley. Plus, it might just be the UK’s foodiest festival – London stalwarts such as Angela Hartnett’s Café Murano and James Cochran’s 12:51 make the journey out of the city for the weekend, and there are elaborate banquets from chefs including Yossi Elad from Palomar and James Knappett.
