Good Morning, I'm Jessica! Today we are making a basic pillowcase.
There are 3 pillowcase sizes: Standard, Queen, & King. I have found that most of my standard pillowcases are actually queen. However, the size for donation is standard. So, measure your pillows before you make a specific size.
Standard measures 20" x 26"
Queen measures 20" x 30"
King measures 20" x 36"
Fabric Requirements-
Standard: 3/4 yard main fabric, 1/4 yard cuff fabric
Queen: 3/4 yard main fabric, 1/4 yard cuff fabric
King: 1 yard main fabric, 1/4 yard cuff fabric
Cutting Instructions-
Standard: Main fabric cut into 23" tall x 41" wide piece; Cuff fabric cut into 9" tall x 41" wide piece
Queen: Main fabric cut into 27" tall x 41" wide piece; Cuff fabric cut into 9" tall x 41" wide piece
King: Main fabric cut into 33" tall x 41" wide piece; Cuff fabric cut into 9" tall x 41" wide piece
