And here they are once again, the fearless Skymonkeyyys, setting off toward new horizons. Embarking on adventures in uncharted lands, where the sky meets the sea and civilization fades. They live by the motto: "To infinity and beyond!"
Welcome to the new season: "The Skymonkeyyys Polar Patrol!"

With five airplanes, they rally together—first in the east, then on to Rügen. As the sun barely begins to rise, before the airport even opens, our daring aeronauts prepare for the leap across the Baltic Sea. Uncertainties lurk, but Cyril ‘The Brain’ will make it work. Engines roar to life as Sweden calls from beyond the horizon!
Formations soar over the Baltic’s blue, the coastline comes into view. A moment to cherish, with dreams taking flight. They divert eastward, avoiding storms, passing thousands of islands that seem to stretch into infinity. Each one a testament to the raw beauty of Scandinavia.
At last, Jämijärvi Airfield awaits with fuel and midnight pizza under the sun that barely dips below the horizon. Mechanical issues arise, but no matter—the comrades, as always, fixes it. The engines hum again as they gather for a formation takeoff, ready for Norway’s challenges.

But first, they’re asked to perform a low flyover—what's forbidden in one country is celebrated in another. It’s pure joy for the comrades as they soar high again, bound for the far north.

From one airfield to the next, they chase the sun, even conferring mid-flight on the radio, adjusting plans. Rovaniemi becomes the goal, the gateway to Finland's Arctic wilderness, and the official home of Santa Claus!

As they touch down, the BlackHawk helicopters eye their ultralights with curiosity. Mutual fascination abounds—while one Monkey finds the cockpit shared with a soldier, Cyril contemplates switching crafts altogether.

Visibility lowers, the formation splits as they land one by one at Kirkenes International Airport. Fuel is scarce, and precious minutes are lost in navigation, but the plan holds strong—Nordkapp is the next frontier.

And there it is—the northernmost tip of the world, shrouded in mist. Glimpses of the iconic Nordkapp Globe flicker through the clouds as their planes buzz around like wild bees, capturing every moment. A victory, where many have failed.

Southbound they go, to Hammerfest, fuel low, but spirits high. The never-setting sun blazes into their cockpits—they’ve made it, with more adventures on the horizon.

Ahead lies the Lofoten Islands, their next breathtaking target. As the Skymonkeyyys fly over Tromsø, they witness the Arctic Cathedral, a symbol of resilience in these frozen lands. Beyond lies their destination, Svolvær, where the wild beauty of Lofoten awaits.

They soar through landscapes carved by time, soaring peaks, crashing into the sea, making this journey more than a flight. It’s a tribute to nature’s majesty, a privilege to witness it from above.
