To add clarity and presence to your synthesizer you can use a low cut filter to reduce unwanted rumble in the low end first. You can reduce muddiness with a negative bell filter between 150 - 400 Hz. Add presence with boosts around 1 - 4 kHz and you can also try boosts between 800 Hz and 1.5 kHz for more attack. Tame harshness by dipping peaks in the range between 5 and 10 kHz and you can also try a high shelf filters or de-essing to reduce sibilance.
