In August 2024, I decided to host a new local cruise-in in my hometown of Tavares, FL. I reached out to a local restaurant and asked if it would be okay to host a cruise-in once a month. We got the green light and hosted our every first cruise-in ... during a hurricane. 6-cars showed up, mostly friends, but it was the start of something new!
Since then, I have promoted with flyers, postings on the internet & created events on different websites and have not missed a single "1st Thursday of the Month", it has become a night many look forward to and the community has shown that this an event to last for a while. if you are in the area or would like to make the drive, i would love to share this night cruise-in with you!
