Описание: We are glad to present you an engaging and deep talk with the writer and film director Folсo Terzani, shot in Italy. He is the son of the famous journalist and writer Tiziano Terzani, a military correspondent on the most important fronts where the history of the second half of the 20th century took place. Folco spent his childhood in the countries where his father was being sent: Singapore, Hong Kong, Beijing, Tokyo, Bangkok, and New Delhi.

Folсo Terzani studied at a school in China, graduated from Cambridge with a degree in Modern Literature, and attended a film department of the New York University. After a one-year experience in the hospice hold by Mother Teresa in Calcutta in 1997, he released the documentary “Mother Teresa's first love”. Then, fascinated by Asia, he released the movie “Twilight Men” about sadhu life in the Himalayas which he was a witness of while living and traveling in India.

In 2006, he issued an edition of his father’s book “The End is My Beginning”. In 2010, he wrote a script for a movie based on this work «Das Ende ist mein Anfang».

In 2011, he wrote the book "Barefooting the Earth". This is the story of Sadhu (Hindu ascetic) Baba Cesare (1946-2018), who moved from Italy to India in the 1970s in search of spirituality. This is a story about a person who, in pursuit of pleasures, eventually refuses them all. The book "Barefooting the Earth" is a bare internal experience through the eyes of the one who followed this search not for a week, a month, or a year, but for the whole lifetime. And although his path was frighteningly winding, Baba Cesare was looking for it. Step by step, he becomes a true part of an archaic existential search.

He lived in India for 3 years and dedicated this time to his Guru, one of the great yogis, an unrevealed spiritual mentor of the Avahan Akhar, Shiva Giri Naga Baba. Amazing and outstanding sadhu, he was the first sadhu who wheeled a big motorcycle and traveled to all the holy places of India with an Italian film crew.
