"The Sounds of the Perfect Chapter" tells the story of a unique event.

The biggest and best barrel-riding contest in Europe held on a perfect day of the Portuguese winter at one of the country's best waves - the heavy A-frames of Carcavelos Beach.

In 2020, Anthony Walsh won the event in heavy 6-to-8-foot offshore barrels at the Cascais beach break.

This video tells the story from a different perspective, including several previously unseen backstage angles.

From the pre-dawn arrival of the surfers, the wind turning offshore and conditions improving along the day, to Walsh's crowning, the clip showcases the story of one of the most anticipated days in the Portuguese and international surfing community's calendar.

Since 2012, some of the world's best tube-riders have challenged and been challenged by a full day of beach-break barrels.

In the past seven editions of the contest, the event hosted surfers like Bruce Irons, Bruno Santos, Tiago Pires, Corey Lopez, Balaram Stack, Nic Von Rupp, Frederico Morais, Aritz Aramburu, and many more.
