Senior Economist Anna Zabrodszka-Averianov note that executives see a slow revenue rebound in this years report.
Despite some positive performance, the macroeconomic pressure is clearly taking its toll. Nearly half (47 per cent) of the executives say their revenues are not recovering as quickly as they would expect considering improvements in the broader economy such as falling inflation in recent years.
For many companies, these conditions will be an unwelcome surprise after their hopes for economic improvement following the cost-of-living crisis. They also do not bode well when considered in light of the new economic uncertainties currently unwinding.
