Gutter Cleaning Tool Demo: The Water Rocket

Описание: Here’s a demonstration of how to use the water rocket to clean your gutters.
(Apologies for the jerky video. I was filming with my iPhone while on a ladder.)

I recommend having a vacuum hose in the gutter close to you to suck up the debris and prevent it from going into the downspout.

I use a 1/2” rubber hose with an on/off valve just before the gutter rocket to turn it on + off.

The Pro’s:
pretty easy to use (when you’re not filming with one hand haha)
works the way it’s intended to
you can clean a full section from one end of the gutter. This is especially good when there’s little room for ladder placement.
Low cost device that actually works great in the field

The Con’s:
It’s hard not to spray yourself when turning it on + off, so you will likely get wet. (If it’s raining and you’re already soaked then who cares.)
Not something you can use on every gutter cleaning job, but when you need it in certain scenarios it doesn’t let you down. (Pro?)
Can’t think of anything else...

If you clean gutters for a living, I’d recommend the small investment of this little beauty. I’ve had it for a couple years now and it’s been a real help in situations where I don’t want to be moving my ladder much (such as 3-story condo’s).
