August 2013: This flyover video shows the construction currently taking place as part of the Regional Rail Link project in comparison to the same area in September last year.
The video starts at the West Werribee Junction where the new rail over rail bridge is taking shape. It follows the eventual alignment of the new railway line through Wyndham Vale (where the cutting is being excavated) and Tarneit (where the new station is taking shape). New buildings can be seen at both locations and the new station car parks are clearly visible.
The video then follows the existing corridor from Sunshine to Southern Cross Station. Major works were under taken in this section in early July, including works on the two grade separations on Anderson Road, the upgrades to Sunshine railway station, and the rebuilding of West Footscray station in it's new location.
