I really needed a simple project for quick carving to have new ornaments for the Christmas tree. It’s already time for Christmas projects, and as usual, I’m doing everything at the last minute. So, I chose a penguin. It’s fun, cute, and quick. The carving takes about ten minutes and is easy even for beginners. In the video, I demonstrate a step-by-step carving guide. For this project, I used a basswood stick with a diameter of 20-25 mm. The penguin with the hat is 40 mm in size. I painted it with watercolor. I just love painting with watercolors. I hope this project will find a place on your Christmas tree and bring you as much joy as it brings me.
Thank you for your time, and good carving to you.
