This week’s training brought a huge mindset shift - I’ve officially set a new goal: qualifying for the Boston Marathon. 🏃♂️✨
Up until now, I’ve been focused on building mileage and preparing to run a strong marathon sub 3:40. But as I’ve seen my training progress, I realized I might be capable of more than I thought. So I’m switching up the second half of my training to chase a Boston Qualifier (BQ) time of sub 3:25!!
In this video, I share:
• Why I decided to set a BQ goal
• Where my training is at right now
• How I’m adjusting my long runs, workouts, and recovery
• The mental shift that comes with chasing a big race goal
