Описание: In this video, the British linguist and geographer presents some of the places believed to be the geographical centre of Europe. These include the town of Suchowola in North East Poland, the city of Landskrona in Southern Sweden, the village of Purnuškes near Vilnius in Lithuania and the city of Polatsk in Belarus. Or perhaps the geographical centre of Europe may be on the island of Saaremaa in Western Estonia, which would put it further north than the city of Kristiansand in Norway and almost as far north as Stockholm! Welcome!
