In this video we will demonstrate how to calibrate your TF350 or MF350 Stock feeder. By calibrating the drop size to an easy multiple (eg. 0.5kg per drop), you can quickly and easily adjust the feedrate for different numbers of stock in different fields.
Sheep will typically be around 1kg per drop (setting 4), and cattle 2kg per drop (setting 8) depending on the feed being used.
If you change feed type or composition then it is recommended that you re-calibrate the drop size. For using multiple feed types through the year a simple mark on the slider scale can allow quick and easy changing of the feedrate.
