Terrorists involved in the encounter with security forces in Billawar area of Kathua district in Jammu were able to flee from the spot like in many previous gunfights. Such escapes have increased over the past sometime as the security forces move cautiously instead of rushing forward as the ultras may have laid an ambush or planted explosives on the approach paths inside deep mountainous forest areas.
