This Silver Streak 18' 6" Gambier was custom ordered for a client of mine that had a specific set of requirements for his adventure boat. Primarily, it should be fully welded, with a bulkhead, and self-bailing. This boat meets those specs. It features a 3/16" bottom and 3/16" sides, front and aft helm, with a port side transom walk through door. The 2' offshore bracket supports a digital shift/throttle/steer Yamaha F150DES motor, and a 9.9hp kicker with both electric/pull start options.
Inside the boat, he opted for a diesel cabin heater, and a removable table. This boat will be moored in a slip, so its trailer has a swing tongue installed so that it will fit in his garage while the boat is in the water. The boat has a @Garmin electronics package that pairs well with the Yamaha outboard. A Garmin 943xsv paired with a GT54-TM transducer, and Garmin Fantom 18 Radar will take the owner everywhere he plans to go. He is an experienced boater, that will utilize the self-bailing hull and commercial build quality in this recreational vessel, to the max.
