The Current River slices through southern Missouri with clear waters, rolling hillsides and fantastic swimming holes. The river is crisp, but enjoyable. I love the current because you get less annoying drunks and more enjoyable people, looking to have a nice time in the sun.

We floated from Akers Ferry Put-in to Pulltite Campground, a 9.6 mile journey. It took us about 6 hours on the water, with frequent stops to eat, drink, swim and have a good time.
