Media forced government to declare the assets and dual citizenship of the special assistants to Prime Minister Imran Khan and now the details are made public. These details are alarming and caused humiliation for the government that seven out of fifteen special assistants to the PM are having dual nationality.
Few are claiming that they have permanent residency of some other country but no citizenship while one SAPM has claimed that is having Green Card of USA but he is not citizen of other country.
To our surprise the SAPM on National Security Division Moeed Yusuf is also having permanent residency of US while another SAPM Tania Aidrus is Canadian by birth while she has also got permanent residency of Singapore.
In recent years Supreme Court of Pakistan has not only de-seated the MNA and Senators of other parties but also removed one Special Assistant to PM on Aviation due to dual nationality, while he was not taking a single penny on account of his salary.
