Описание: La Esperanza is a municipality in the Honduran department of Intibucá and the capital city of the department. Situated in the high forests of western Honduras, La Esperanza has the coolest climate of all Honduras' cities. In actuality, La Esperanza and Intibuca are neighboring cities with intertwining boundaries. The joint cities of La Esperanza-Intibuca have two different mayors and local politics are often quarrelsome between the two governments. There are no obvious boundaries between the two municipalities.
