paper mache is by far my favourite prop-making material, so i wanted to share my method and maybe encourage people who haven't touched the stuff since they were kids to consider using it. i mean, it's cheap, versatile, and durable. (also it's fun to play with floury gunk :D)
basic cooked paper mache recipe:
1 tablespoon of flour
1 cup of water
mix flour and water in small pot until no lumps remain; cook on stove on medium heat until mixture thickens, stirring constantly
add more flour for a thicker mixture, less for thinner
soak toilet paper in water for 10 or 20 minutes and add to mixture to make moldable paper mache
