Deadzone: Rogue - Zone 3 Solo on Nightmare

Описание: Deadzone Rogue is a well made first person roguelike, it starts off feeling a bit slow and tactical but as you come into your build and enemy density goes up, it can get properly hectic. You definitely still want to plan out a good starting position, maybe position some barrels, but often my plans didn't quite work out and I had to improvise a bit. I think it's more fun in co-op as more builds become viable and you get more memorable moments, but if you're playing solo then you really can't get much better than this build ended up. For augments anything with 200% ammo is pretty solid, and for weapons both Iron Squires and Arc Lance are amazingly good. Lightning element seems the strongest at just melting everything, but I do like most of them, in particular the crowd control from psionic and cryo can be very helpful. Once I got Ghost Blade perk, it basically turns it into a different game where you try to chain melee one shots to clear everything in the arena while staying invisible, it's so incredibly powerful that it basically breaks the game, especially boss fights.

Generally I like the game especially with friends but for my own enjoyment I would have liked a bit more movement and verticality than just running and dashing. Really I think its just that the name reminds me of Deadlink, another FPS roguelike I loved, and that has led me to unfairly compare them. I'd recommend this to someone who wants a mix of tactical planning and some hectic action, it's got all the highs of having a good roguelike build come together while being faced with some genuinely challenging rooms.
