However, the number of stray dogs is a matter of concern, with an estimated population of approximately 150,000. This disparity between the registered and stray dog population highlights the urgent need for effective strategies to address the issue of stray dogs in the region. Such measures could include increasing public awareness about responsible pet ownership, promoting spaying and neutering of dogs, and implementing effective vaccination programs. By taking these actions, we can aim to minimize the number of stray dogs in the region and ensure a safe and healthy environment for both humans and animals alike.
