MAC grantees like Jackson Comics are creating art focused on Mississippi!
Jackson Comics, created by Blake Barnes, is an anthology comic book series featuring artists from Mississippi and stories about Mississippi. Barnes received an Individual Project grant from MAC to support the anthology's creation. Individual Project Grants are available to Mississippi artists seeking funding for community-based projects. The National Endowment for the Arts and the Mississippi Legislature provide support for the Individual Project Grant.
