　建造物は、1945年(昭和20)の空襲により焼失する前と再建後の写真などで比較できるように作ってみました。
　かつて、二の丸エリアに那古野城があったようです。那古野城は、織田信長の生誕の城と云われていましたが、現在では勝幡城という説もあり、生誕の城かどうかは定かではありませんが、過ごした城であることは確かと思われます。
　二の丸庭園は、歴代藩主が公私にわたって過ごした二之丸御殿の北側に設けられました。藩主が居住した御殿の庭園としては日本一の規模を誇ります。明治期に御殿とともに庭園も一部を除いて取り払われましたが、江戸時代後期の大規模な大名庭園として非常に価値ある遺構が残されていることがわかり、2018年(平成30)、庭園のほぼ全域が名勝として指定されました。

It seems that Nagoya Castle once stood in the Ninomaru area. Nagoya Castle was said to be the castle where Oda Nobunaga was born, but there is now a theory that it is Katsuhata Castle. While it is unclear whether this is his birthplace, it is certain that it was the castle where he spent his time.
Ninomaru Garden was located north of the Ninomaru Palace, where successive feudal lords spent both their official and private lives. It is the largest palace garden in Japan where a feudal lord resided. During the Meiji period, the garden was demolished along with the palace, with only a small section removed. However, it was discovered that valuable remains remained as a large-scale daimyo garden from the late Edo period, and in 2018 (Heisei 30), almost the entire garden was designated a Place of Scenic Beauty.
