Thrips is one of the pest that affect roses badly. Many of the rose growers experience this and it's quite common. Easy to control Thrips in early stages. There are insecticide/pesticide available in the market to treat thrips. watch this video for full details and how to control thrips, all explained in Tamil. I personally use KEM and some chemical combined pesticides for thrips. Neem oil can also be used for thrips when mixed with some wetting agent or liquid soap.
Technical Names - Imidacloprid, Fipronil, Dimethoate, Diafenthiuron, Spinosad etc.
