So 3.17 is upon us and it brings with it many changes and some new challenges. But coinciding with the release of this patch I was very generously donated a Track IR head tracker by member of our Crew Offgrid - and I have to say I am really really enjoying it as an additional input device for star citizen
For those who are unaware of what TrackIR is, it is a device that allows you to control head movements in simulation games by moving your own head - so in flight sims or games with free look like arma or star citizen this allow a lot of intuitive control over your view. the comparisons to VR immediately come to mind, and I have to say the benefits of head tracking seem very similar to VR
