Pokemon Legends: Arceus tells the story of a player character sent back in time to the ancient Sinnoh region (called Hisui) by the legendary Pokémon Arceus to help stop a space-time rift, which is causing powerful Noble Pokémon to go berserk. Joining the Galaxy Expedition Team in Jubilife Village, the player works to complete the first Pokédex, calming the frenzied Nobles with balms, but is later banished by Commander Kamado. The story culminates in uncovering the cause of the rift, facing off against powerful legendary Pokémon like Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina, and ultimately confronting Arceus itself to restore balance and lay the foundation for the modern Sinnoh region
