Nail Spring Ranch, a leading long-range shooting and training facility known the world over, announced it will host a full slate of immersive training experiences led by Modern Day Sniper (MDS) throughout 2026. The multi-month schedule brings nationally respected precision rifle instruction to the ranch’s 2,000-acre high-desert and mountain landscape in the Langell Valley.
From April through December, Nail Spring Ranch will host a series of intensive, multi-day training courses for experienced civilian shooters, Western big-game hunters, precision competitors, and qualified law enforcement professionals. Each program is a full-immersion experience, with students living, eating, and training on-site to maximize focus and skill development.

Developed for long-range and field-based shooting, the ranch features known-distance ranges to 800 yards, unknown-distance targets beyond 1,600 yards, angle fire and cross-canyon shots approaching one mile, PRS-style barricades, and hike-and-shoot field courses. Persistent, unpredictable wind ensures every hit is earned through sound fundamentals and strategic decision-making.

“These programs are intentionally different from traditional shooting classes offered on lesser properties,” said Caylen Wojcik, founder of Modern Day Sniper. “The goal isn’t to introduce new fundamentals, it’s to drive the fundamentals shooters already know into unconscious competence through volume, coaching, and environmental pressure. Nail Spring Ranch accelerates that process in a way few locations can.”
Throughout the year, the ranch will host multiple iterations of Modern Day Sniper’s Long Range Skills Progression and Nail Spring Ranch Skills Experience courses, focused on high-repetition, coach-led training from field positions, tripods, barricades, and natural terrain. Courses are designed for shooters ranging from post-introductory students to those pushing through performance plateaus.

Additional specialized experiences in 2026 include the Guided Handloading Experience, the Nail Spring Ranch Hunter’s Experience, and Modern Day Sniper’s Law Enforcement Basic Sniper Class, which is restricted to sworn law enforcement and Department of War personnel. The year will conclude with the Nail Spring Ranch Cold Weather Experience in December.
All civilian courses are all-inclusive, priced at $3,400. The experience includes lodging and meals at Nail Spring Ranch’s four-star guest lodge, featuring classroom facilities, a secure armory, full gym, and private grass runway. Enrollment is strictly limited to cultivate a premier experience and preserve high instructor-to-student ratios.
