Step 1: Take off one side of your small box. If using a shoebox, take off the lid. If using a tissue box, take off the side of the box with the plastic opening.
Step 2: Cut a centimeter deep slit along the longer, opposite sides. Make the cuts about one inch apart.
Step 3: Wrap the rubber bands over the end of the box and place in between in the slits.
Step 4: Using the different rubber bands you have, place enough so that each slit is used.
Step 5: Ta-da! You now have a rubber band guitar.
Step 6: Observe the different sounds that the different sounds come from different rubber bands. Try and see if you can make the pitch go from low to high.
