Lufthansa Birmingham to Munich in Economy Class on Flight LH2511 - Airbus A319-100

Описание: This is a video of me flying with Lufthansa from Birmingham to Munich on an Airbus A319-100 on my way to Singapore. I had quite a stressful day, having to urgently finish several things at work before heading to the airport. Since I have already checked in online, I dropped off my suitcase at Zone C of the airport before heading through security. Birmingham Airport was still quite understaffed as of March 2023, so it took me 25 minutes.

Once I have cleared security, I used my Priority Pass to enter the No. 1 Lounge. All lounges at the airport except the Emirates Lounge can be accessed using the Priority Pass, so I did not have to be a Miles or More Member. I helped myself to quite a bit of food since I have not eaten since breakfast. I was able to chill out for quite a bit before I had to make my way to the gate.

I was unable to board the plane until 10 minutes after the original departure time for some reason. The Airbus 319-100 is a narrow body aircraft typically used in short haul flights within Europe. There are 3 seats in each row on both sides of the aisle. I sat in a window seat with a good view of the wing, and fortunately no one say in the window seat so I had much more space. The plane taxied out to the runway 24 minutes late and finally took off into the evening.

Lufthansa takes after budget airlines when it comes to food and drink on the flight, charging for most items. However, I still got a small bottle of mineral water and a piece of chocolate for free. Flight maps are not provided at all on the flight, so I had to patiently wait for the plane to touch down in Munich, 15 minutes behind schedule. To make things even worse, the plane did not park at a terminal, so I had to take a bus there, thus making my connection even tighter by a few more minutes. This may not appear to be a big deal, but I originally only had an hour and 50 minutes between flights.

After I arrived at Terminal 2 of the Munich Airport, I was relieved to find that the gate for my onward flight to Singapore used a gate located literally right above where I was. I quickly made my way to a Lufthansa Business Class Lounge and entered using my credit card. Whew...
