Francisco Luís and Steven den Toom are both D'addario artists and D'addario strings were used for this recording.
"I present to you this small gorgeous piece by Johann Kaspar Mertz: "Liebeslied" (love song). An Austrian composer from the first half of the 19th century, Mertz's music strongly resembles the romantic language of composers such as Schubert or Schumann. This piece is part of "Bardenklänge" (Bardic Sounds), a set of 25 small pieces, mostly meant for an intimate concert atmosphere.
