Kyubi has plenty of strong movesets that can physically annihilate her enemies. The only problem she faces is her inability to get her attacks out fast enough before getting interrupted. Even with the help of Purging Pestle's Normal Magic (NM) to help her interrupt enemies and control battles, she still cuts it really close.

The simplest way to bypass her "slowness" is taking advantage of her Orochi category skill tree ability "Spirited" and start performing Spirit Dash against enemies that she sees for easy elemental procs. That, coupled with her astounding 962 Attack and 54 attack base weapon, she will nail enemies really hard for easy KOs. Great for nailing officers since they are really easy to take advantage of with Purging Pestle's NM.

Outside of cheesing enemies with Spirit Dash, she has C1-3 for an early consistent elemental charge attack. With a max charge C1-3, she summons (what I assume to be) 9 wisps for a near guarantee elemental proc. C1-3 into Spirit Dash is also a viable combo, but only against monsters since they are fairly docile (3:05). Refrain from charging C1-3 against buffed enemies and aggro enemies such as Odin. Buffed enemies and aggro playables such as Odin, Orochi, etc. will strike immediately when they are in range.

C4-3 is also another strong charge attack that is capable of taking out a horde of enemies and officers at the same time (2:20). Lengthy, but super strong as it can take out buffed monsters in this stage if Slay procs at the end. Regardless, this is her overall, best go-to charge attack because it is friendly to execute while giving her good control, damage and the ability to generate combos the same time (2:47). C4-3 also has a on-hit guard break property.

C5-3 is incredibly strong, but is offset by a long charge time (0:41; this is just setting an example of how strong it is even without Might attribute, NM is the better of taking Chaos Origins out). Given enough time and space for her to execute this at point-blank against an enemy, they will sustain heavy damage, if not, just straight up OHKO'd. This moveset is great against monsters, but pretty much anything as long as she can do it without interruption. Officers tend to interrupt her when she is casting this so use NM to minimize this from happening.

With the setup, her Unique Magic (UM) is pretty strong. It might push Wraith variants away from her, but a face-to-face positioning with them at close enough distance (1:02), she will guarantee OHKO them (assuming Aggression is active). Since all her charge attacks all take awhile to queue up and excel in 1v1s, UM is a nice burst damage for her if she is is facing pileups or is pressed for time since her movesets takes awhile to setup.

Her Musou is strong, but at the cost her of all her Musou gauge. Generally not worth it due to the fact that her Spirit Dash requires Musou and her Osmosis rate is not good at all. Worth a try if you like her Musou.

Now, Divinity + Osmosis is nice for her UM, but if you are not into it, try replacing Divinity with Might for more charge attack damage. Her damage output is already really good on the physical side, but with Might, it will start shredding stuff. While not using UM offense alleviates expending Musou, Osmosis is still going to be useful if she uses Spirit Dash offense. If she isn't using this either, feel free to replace it with Rigor or Confluence. Rigor for even more charge attack damage output, but at the cost of dropping her defense or Confluence to allow her to fill Unity gauge better. Every Unity Magic is a free attack up buff that stacks with Aggression so it is really nice.

The thing with Kyubi is that she needs a full charge on all her charge attack movesets to make them potent and have elemental activation. Her non-max charge moveset variants are nowhere remotely close to her max charge variants so be mindful of that. With an abusable Purging Pestle to help her setup attacks, it reliefs alot of pressure off of her. Anything she cannot max charge in time, she will always have UM (or Musou) and Spirit Dash. As a Spirit Dash abuser competitor against the likes of ... Tamamo, Loki, Fuxi, etc. what makes her shine more is her ability to be more flexible through what she has. Control + offense simultaneously is a combination that not much Spirit Dash abusers have.
